Artem Lobov granted release from UFC

On Tuesday afternoon, “The Russian Hammer” took to Twitter to announce he was no longer a member of the promotion he has called home for the last three years, while offering his services to several rival MMA promotions as well as kickboxing promotion Glory.

MMA Fighting later confirmed the validity of his tweets.

K1 has always been on my radar, proper fights!!! Buakaw, Senchai...
.send them my way, it would be a huge honour to share the ring with them!!! @GLORY_WS— Artem Lobov (@RusHammerMMA) January 29, 2019

In a twist, Lobov also set his sights on boxers Amir Khan and Paulie Malignaggi, the latter of which has been embroiled in a feud with Lobov’s SBG Ireland teammate, and former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion, Conor McGregor.
