Former UFC 155-pound champion Anthony Pettis will make his featherweight debut against Charles Oliveira when the promotion travels to Vancouver on Aug. 27.
The UFC’s Canadian branch confirmed both the bout and the event on Wednesday. The event, likely entitled UFC on Fox 21, will take place at the Rogers Arena and will also include a middleweight clash pitting Gareth McLellan against Alessio Di Chirico. The evening’s main card will air on the Fox Network.
After consecutive losses to Edson Barboza, Eddie Alvarez and Rafael dos Anjo, Pettis teased a move to 145 pounds earlier this month.
