Anthony Hernandez Releases Statement on Exit from UFC Vancouver Headliner

Anthony Hernandez is focused on returning to full health so he can make a statement in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s middleweight division.

“Fluffy” was forced to withdraw from a proposed matchup with Reinier de Ridder in the UFC Vancouver main event scheduled for Oct. 18. As a result, Brendan Allen will step in and face the former ONE Championship two-division champion in the card’s new headliner. Hernandez has since released a statement regarding the fight via Instagram. He did not offer specifics regarding the nature of the injury that forced him to pull out of the fight.
