Andy Main-Issei Tamura Unification Bout to Headline Pancrase 282 on Nov. 13

Featherweight King of Pancrase Andy Main will meet interim champion Issei Tamura to unify the 145-pound title in the Pancrase 282 headliner on Nov. 13 at Differ Ariake in Tokyo.

Main will enter the high-stakes clash on a three-fight winning streak. The 27-year-old Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt captured the Pancrase featherweight crown a little more than a year ago, when he submitted Nam Phan with a fourth-round triangle choke. Main appeared on Season 12 of “The Ultimate Fighter” reality series, only to be eliminated by eventual semifinalist Kyle Watson.
