Out of the Welterweight Grand Prix tournament, Andrey Koreshkov is staying in the thick of the contenders’ circle.
Koreshkov (21-3) will fight Lorenz Larkin (20-7, 1 NC) at a Bellator event scheduled for March 29 at Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, Calif. The welterweight bout will headline the show.
This will be Koreshkov’s first fight since bowing out of the opening round of the Bellator Welterweight World Grand Prix at Bellator 206 in September. There, he fought rival Douglas Lima to complete a trilogy between them, with Lima claiming victory in two of their three fights after securing a fifth-round submission in the most recent encounter.
