The search for Donny Aaron is over.
Nine months after the now-estranged husband and former coach of UFC flyweight Andrea Lee went on the run in the wake of domestic violence charges stemming from an Aug. 4, 2018, incident involving Aaron and Lee, the 43-year-old Aaron has been arrested and extradited back to Shreveport, La.
MMA Fighting confirmed the arrest with Shreveport Police Department spokesperson Christina Curtis following an initial report by MMA Junkie. Aaron was arrested on May 24 in Upshur County, Texas, which is about a 90-minute drive from Shreveport, after being stopped by an officer for allegedly speeding in a school zone and later found to be possessing an illegal amount of marijuana.
