Amanda Nunes shoots down potential Valentina Shevchenko trilogy after UFC 232 win

Amanda Nunes had no interest in talking about UFC women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko after her historic win at UFC 232.

In the UFC 232 co-main event, Nunes defeated Cris Cyborg in 51 seconds to win the women’s featherweight title and become the first female fighter to hold UFC titles in two divisions at the same time. The event took place Saturday night at The Forum in Inglewood, California. Nunes entered the bout as the women’s bantamweight titleholder.

After the fight at the post-fight press conference, a reporter asked Nunes about a potential trilogy fight against Shevchenko, who beat Joanna Jedrzejczyk for the vacant 125-pound title earlier this month.
