Amanda Cooper Signs with Invicta FC, Expected to Compete in Flyweight Tournament

Six-time Ultimate Fighting Championship veteran Amanda Cooper has signed with Invicta FC to compete in the promotion’s upcoming flyweight tournament.

MMAjunkie.com was first to report the news. Cooper is expected to participate in Phoenix Rising 2 in September. Brianna Van Buren, who is now in the UFC, won the promotion’s inaugural Phoenix Rising bracket at 115 pounds this past May.

The rest of the 125-pound field for Phoenix Rising 2 is currently unknown.

Cooper, 27, went 2-4 during her Octagon tenure. She exited the Las Vegas-based promotion on the heels of back-to-back losses to Mackenzie Dern and Ashley Yoder in 2018.
