After going back and forth on social media for the last few months, it’s clear the beef between UFC bantamweights Aljamain Sterling and Cody Stamann has not yet settled, as Sterling has called out Stamann for a fight at UFC 228 on September 8th.
Sterling discussed a potential fight with Stamann when he spoke to TSN’s Aaron Bronsteter at the World MMA Awards on Tuesday.
“September 8th. UFC 228. We are getting ready to go,” Sterling said. “I think the opponent in mind, he’s ranked number eleven, Cody Stamann, I’m ready to put a stamp on that ass.
