Alistair Overeem open to rematch with Jairzinho Rozenstruik: ‘I destroyed that man’

Following his stoppage win against Augusto Sakai this past weekend, Alistair Overeem has no problem avenging his loss over Jairzinho Rozenstruik.

Overeem (47-18, 1NC) stooped Sakai (15-2-1) in the main event of UFC Vegas 9 on September 5th. After losing the first half of the fight, Overeem landed hard elbows on the ground to get the stoppage finish in the fifth round.

With “The Demolition Man” keen on making one last run at the UFC heavyweight title, Overeem sees no problem with a rematch against Rozenstruik, who is ranked third in the division. “Bigi Boi” stooped Overeem with just four seconds left last December after losing the majority of the fight.
