According to Alexander Volkanovski’s manager, Rhys Dal Cin, the UFC featherweight is being treated for an infection in Chile that was discovered as he was traveling home after his victory over Jose Aldo at UFC 237 on Saturday in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Dal Cin took to social media to give an update on Volkanovski’s situation on Tuesday morning, revealing that “The Great” is in “good spirits” as he receives treatment for the infection in Santiago. According to his post, the infection “developed quickly” as he was on a flight home.
