A battle between exciting flyweight contenders will get its third new date.
Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that the matchup between Alex Perez and Matt Schnell has been shifted one week from Aug. 28 to Sept. 4 at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas. The reason for the move is unknown at this time. MMA DNA was first to report the change.
This is the fourth different booking date for Perez after falling short in his quest to become flyweight champion against Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC 255 in November.
