Alex Pereira might be willing to face Khamzat Chimaev — but only under certain conditions.
Chimaev has recently expressed interest in moving up to 205 pounds to fight the reigning UFC light heavyweight champ, but “Poatan” is currently angling for a showdown with Jon Jones at the promotion’s White House event next year. However, in a post on Instagram, Pereira indicated that he would consider a grappling match against Chimaev.
“That guy says he wants to fight with me, he’s gotta get out there, understand?” Pereira in a video while speaking to mentor Glover Teixeira.
