Alex Oliveira has decided to end his relationship with Tata Fight Team, where he has spent his last four years of training. It’s a surprising decision considering just nine days earlier he claimed arguably the biggest scalp of his mixed martial arts career in Carlos Condit.
Oliveira, who submitted Condit in the co-main event of UFC on Fox 29 in Glendale on April 14, trains with Coach Andre Tadeu at ATS in Tres Rios. During fight camps the Brazilian would split his time with TFT, which is approximately a 100 mile drive so he could train with coaches Tata Duarte and Philip Lima in Rio de Janeiro.
