Khabib Normagomedov’s father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, won’t be attending the UFC 229 hostilities when his son faces off against Conor McGregor for the lightweight belt.
A report from earlier today confirmed that Abdulmanap was not granted a visa for the event in Nevada (via MMA Fighting).
“According to the article, Nurmagomedov underwent an interview in Istanbul to secure the visa, but reported that he was not successful in his endeavor when speaking to a Russian new agency, TASS.
It is understood that Nurmagomedov was asked to provide further information, but will not be able to do so in time to obtain the U.
