SAN JOSE, Calif. — Freddie Roach is supposed to be in Aaron Pico’s corner at Bellator 206, MMA Fighting has learned.
Pico trains under the legendary boxing coach at Roach’s Wild Card gym in Los Angeles. The top prospect is expecting for Roach to be in his corner for his bout with Leandro Higo on Saturday night here at SAP Center.
Bellator president Scott Coker dropped the news to MMA Fighting in an interview Thursday after media day. Pico’s manager Bob Cook confirmed that Roach is supposed to be there.
