The Galaxy is getting a new striker in McInerney, the 24-year-old has played six seasons in Major League Soccer with four different clubs, which has included the Philadelphia Union, Montreal Impact, Columbus Crew, and the Portland Timbers.
In 167 appearances, McInerney has scored 43 goals and provided six assists. His best season to date was in 2013 when he scored 12 goals in 31 matches for the Union.
McInerney is a goal scorer, who doesn’t necessarily score the prettiest of goals but gets it done up front. With that being said, he is what the Galaxy need at the moment.
