As the 2019 offseason continues to take shape, the Vancouver Whitecaps have continued to add to the storyline. Their most recent signing, 20-year-old Uruguayan striker Joaquín Ardaiz, will bring them much-needed offensive depth as they continue to transform their roster.
The player the Whitecaps have added is Ardaiz will join the Canadian club on a season-long loan with the option to purchase at the end of the year.
After seeing a few stars leave the roster at the end of the 2018 season, Ardaiz will be entering into a squad that could yield him the playing time he failed to get in Serie A.
