USWNT Vs England: 3 things we learned – No Megan Rapinoe, no problem

Well, if you doubted the U.S. Women’s National Team before the World Cup, you most certainly shouldn’t be now. After beating hosts France in the quarter-finals, Jill Ellis’ side went one better on Tuesday by dealing with SheBelieves winners England in the semi-finals.

Goals from the excellent Christen Press and Alex Morgan were enough for the USWNT, although Alyssa Naeher was the real hero, saving a Steph Houghton penalty late on to protect the 2-1 lead.
