The 2010’s are coming to an end, and for the US Women’s National Team, that means the end of a decade which included two World Cup wins in 2015 and 2019 — and a penalty shootout away from another in 2011 — as well as Olympic gold in 2012.
The USWNT has been a world leader beyond the past 10 years and will look to stay atop the next decade, beginning with the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo and extending to becoming the first team to win three consecutive World Cups.
With the success of the USWNT, it is agiven that elite players have featured throughout the decade.
