The United States Men’s National Team continued their journey into their evolution of youth on Tuesday night as they hosted local rivals Mexico in Nashville. It may have only been a friendly, but this was a feisty affair that both sides clearly wanted to win.
In the end, it was the USMNT came out on top. They may have been much the worse team for much of the first half, but they were resilient, repelled the waves of attacks of their visitors and snatched a second-half winner.
