The U.S. Men’s National Team ended their March international break by hosting Copa American champions Chile at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston on Tuesday night. This was easily the biggest test of the Gregg Berhalter era to date, and, for the most part, his team came through it, drawing 1-1 thanks to an early Christian Pulisic strike.
There were obviously some issues, which I will touch on later, and Chile were the better team, controlling possession and creating more chances. But then, they are the better team and they should control possession and create more chances.
