USMNT: US Soccer Announces Two Summer Friendlies

With the pre-World Cup tournament that is the Confederations Cup taking place in Russia, as well as the CONCACAF Gold Cup returning to the United States, the summer of 2017 could well be a fruitful season of soccer.

And US soccer fans are likely to enjoy more of the beautiful game than most fans around the world, as according to a report from ESPNFC, Bruce Arena’s men are now set to play Venezuela in early June and Ghana in July in international friendlies.

The USMNT’s clash with Venezuela will reportedly take place at the Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah, five days before the US’ World Cup qualifier against Trinidad and Tobago in Denver on June 8th.
