The newest round of World Rankings was released yesterday, and there was not much of a change. The top 5 of Argentine, Brazil, Germany, Chile, and Belgium was unchanged, and the only movement in the top 10 was France and Columbia switching places at 6 and 7. The full rankings can be found here.
Before the new rankings came out, the USA sat at 28th following a few rough losses to end 2016. The USMNT dropped one spot in order to 29th, but there is no need to freak out.
First, the USMNT has been relatively inactive.
