After a loss to Panama in their opening match, the U-20 USMNT needed to bounce back against Haiti to keep their World Cup dreams alive. Tab Ramos changed his lineup up a bit for this game by bringing Jonathan Lewis and Eryk Williamson into the starting midfield.
The game started pretty much as expected. Haiti bunkered and tried to catch the USA on the counterattack, while the USA pressed higher and higher up the field. For most of the first 15 min, all 10 field players for the USA were in the Haiti half, and then they got caught.
