Werder Bremen forward Josh Sargent scored his first Bundesliga goal
Josh Sargent opened his goal account in the 2020/21 Bundesliga campaign on Saturday. The Werder Bremen striker scored his club’s lone goal in a 1-1 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt. Sargent had scored in the DFB-Pokal in September for Bremen but had not found the back of the net since then.
The goal comes ahead of the upcoming friendly match for the United States Men’s National Team on November 12th against Wales. Sargent’s goal will certainly help his chances of being the starting striker that Gregg Berhalter selects for the match.
