Matthew Hoppe scored for Schalke for the second consecutive week.
The goals continue to come for Matthew Hoppe in the Bundesliga. A week after scoring a hat-trick, the United States Men’s National Team eligible player registered another goal for Schalke. This time he was able to score against Eintracht Frankfurt in a 3-1 loss for Schalke. Hoppe scored an equalizing goal in the 29th minute right after Frankfurt had scored just a minute earlier.
Hoppe’s fourth goal of the season for Schalke shows the 19-year-old striker is capable of reaching a double-digit goal total this season.
