American striker and USMNT hopeful Josh Sargent headlines the results for the week as the 18-year-old scored for Werder Bremen in a preseason friendly against Pribam.
It was a well-taken goal. A nicely timed run curved in behind the defense. Sargent, with time on his hands to turn calmness into calamity, dribbled into the penalty area, set himself with a touch to the right, and then curled a low shot into the bottom corner.
Sargent will be vying for first-team minutes this season as he begins his professional journey in the German top flight.
