On Saturday night, the Philadelphia Union played the Colorado Rapids at Dicks Sporting Goods Park. Both teams finished in the bottom half of their separate conferences in 2015. A year later, the Union are first in the Eastern Conference while the Rapids are first in the Western Conference.
In the 87th minute, Sam Cronin put the Rapids ahead. The Rapids were unlucky on many occasions, hitting the crossbar twice. Andre Blake had another fantastic game in net denying the Rapids attack for most of the game.
With three minutes of stoppage time it looked like the Rapids were going to collect all three points.
