Just a day after being linked with a move to the Chinese Super League by his agent, Toronto FC’s superstar has been connected with a loan move to the mega-club Barcelona. Whether true or PR material created by his agent, the links are justified based on Giovinco’s play in the MLS since arriving.
The 2015 MVP reportedly received a loan offer from the Camp Nou club, looking to add him during the MLS winter off-season (last year). The claim from was stated by Sebastian’s agent Andrea D’Amico to Premium Sport.
His agent went on to state why the offer was refused.
