How fitting is it that Toronto FC won the rematch between the two teams on a penalty shot? No one expected Toronto to come out of this game against the Sounders with three points and their fourth consecutive victory. They had no Giovinco, no Vazquez and no Zavaleta in the starting the 11, but they still won. Just goes to show the kind of depth Greg Vanney and Toronto FC have at their disposal.
Chris Mavinga made up for his poor start against Atlanta with a solid performance yesterday. Jozy Altidore was probably the best player for Toronto FC and there were a lot of great performances.
