Bundesliga legend Arjen Robben appears to be making a move to Major League Soccer at the conclusion of the 2018-19 European season. Reports have linked the Dutch winger to Toronto FC as the Reds look to land another star player.
Robben would be joining whichever club he ends up at on a free transfer, with his contract expiring this summer. This would be mean he could join Toronto at the end of Bayern Munich’s season without a transfer fee needing to be paid.
As Toronto have recently added Alejandro Pozuelo to the line-up, the Canadian club could be on the brink of completing two massive signings for the season.
