Last year Toronto FC was one of the best defensive sides in the MLS, no doubt, and this year has started the same with only two goals against through three games. So Toronto went out and added some more depth on defence today as if they didn’t have enough.
Free agent defender Jason Hernandez, 33, and a MLS veteran of 12-years is the latest signing. With this move Toronto adds a lot of playing experience with both regular season and playoff experience. While he has played for multiple teams in his career, Hernandez spent most of his career with the San Jose Earthquakes.
