The Montreal Impact Earned a Point on the Road Against D.C. United

It was a close call for the Impact, as they avoided losing a key match on the road with a late goal. The match featured multiple shots that hit the woodwork and a red card to one of the Impacts main forwards.

D.C. United would find the net first in the 20th minute when Patrick Mullins headed home his first goal of the season. Taylor Kemp picked up the assist as he provided the cross.

Both sides would go back and forth for the remainder of the half. Ignacio Piatti came close to scoring in the 31st minute when he intercepted a poor back pass.
