Sporting Kansas City Vs FC Dallas: 3 things we learned – Goals galore

The Round of 16 of the US Open Cup produced one of the most entertaining games of the season so far: Sporting Kansas City’s 3-2 win over FC Dallas in a pulsating, back-and-forth affair that ended with a staggering Yohan Croizet volley in the dying minutes.

Earlier, Daniel Salloi had scored twice to put Sporting KC 2-1 in front, but after Rolan Lamah’s deflected effort squirmed into the bottom corner, Peter Vermes’ side required something special. They got it. The ball dropped out the sky, Croizet set himself, before peeling a left-volleyed that arrowed into the top corner beautifully.
