All signs point to a defensive struggle between the Colorado Rapids and Sporting Kansas City this Sunday. Sporting has scored only two goals and allowed one. With Tim Melia leading the defense, Sporting has put together three clean sheets. The only issue is SKC have failed to score in those three matches.
Colorado has also played tight, low scoring matches this season. Led by Tim Howard, the Rapids have only given up three goals so far this year. Their offense is also having a hard time finding the back of the net, only scoring three goals this season.
