Sporting Kansas City Rebound Against Real Salt Lake

Sporting Kansas City both literally and figuratively weathered the storm at Children’s Mercy Park. The 3-0 win in driving rain extended SKC’s unbeaten streak at home to 13. Despite the rain there was plenty of atmosphere from the Cauldron.

Benny Feilhaber opened the scoring in the 17th minute. His long distance effort was his second of the year.

Then in the second half, Dom Dwyer got his third of the year, with Gerso Fernandes finishing off RSL with, let’s say, an unconventional goal.
