With needs on the wing, New York City FC could be turning their attention to an Ecuadorean international, currently on the books with one of South America’s powerhouse clubs.
Joao Rojas, currently with Sao Paulo in Brazil, has drawn the interest of NYCFC a source close to the situation tells FanSided’s MLS Multiplex. Capped 34 times by Ecuador, Rojas is 31-years old.
The diminutive attacker is capable of playing on both wings.
