Sounders fans came into Sunday’s match in Orlando with a lot of hope and positivity, especially after seeing how Lodeiro played against the Galaxy last weekend. It got off to a rough start, though, as Orlando City’s Seb Hines lost his marker Brad Evans in the 7th-minute and connected on a Kaka corner, putting the home side up 1-0. It didn’t take long, though, for the Sounders to equalize. Lodeiro found the Tyrone Mears with space on the right flank just 7 minutes later, who cut a ball across the face of goal for an easy tap in for Clint Dempsey, making the score 1-1.
Sounders On the Rise After Defeating Orlando
