The Seattle Sounders and the Houston Dynamo played to a scoreless draw at CenturyLink Field. The home side missed an important chance to lock up their place in the postseason with a victory. This was a game of missed chances and multiple close calls as both sides were unlucky to not score at least once but both goalkeepers and defenses came up big at the end of the day.
Nicolas Lodeiro and Jordan Morris each returned to the Sounders’ Starting XI after they participated in their respective countries intentional games. Lodeiro returned from play with Uruguay and Morris returned after the USMNT’s friendly with Cuba.
