It was the dawning of a new era for FC Cincinnati on Saturday as they played their first-ever Major League Soccer fixture against the Seattle Sounders. The highly anticipated match ended up being the Jordan Morris show, though, as the striker made his return for the Sounders from a season-ending ACL injury in 2018.
Morris’ brace was crucial in getting the Sounders a 4-1 victory to open up the campaign. Although it was a rough start for FC Cincinnati, the club was posed with a very difficult fixture to open up their life in MLS.
