After dropping points in two consecutive matches, the Seattle Sounders turned things around with a 4-0 victory over the Colorado Rapids. It was a dominant performance that sees Seattle stay the course for securing a playoff spot in the Western Conference.
The Sounders goalscoring was led by summer signing Raul Ruidiaz who recorded a brace. Other goalscorers included Nicolas Lodeiro and Victor Rodriguez. Lodeiro was arguably the Man of the Match as he added two assists to his second-half spot kick. Stefan Frei and the Sounders backline also picked up their first clean sheet since August 18th.
