Just two years ago, a 19-year-old Cristian Roldan was drafted 16th overall in the MLS SuperDraft by the Seattle Sounders. Since then, Roldan has defied all expectations and at 21-years-old has proved to be one of the best box-to-box midfielders in the MLS and a mainstay in the Sounders starting line-up.
It has been incredible to see Roldan grow over the past two years alongside midfield partner Ozzie Alonso. His growth can be seen best in his latest performance against Atlanta United. During this game Roldan was by far the best player on the field for the Sounders.
