After the majority of the chances fell to the San Jose Earthquakes, the Seattle Sounders thought they grabbed a winner in the 84th-minute with a wonderful Nicolas Lodeiro volley. The Sounders defense held strong for five more minutes until Wondolowski was left unmarked six yards from goal for an easy tap in.
