The San Jose Earthquakes recently brought in midfielder Florian Jungwirth from German club Darmstadt and forward Danny Hoesen from Dutch club FC Gronigen. Hoesen is coming to San Jose on a season long loan, but San Jose does have the option to buy the player at the end of the season.
These moves are very encouraging for the direction this Earthquakes team is trying to go with under new GM Jesse Fioranelli. The Earthquakes had an issue scoring consistently last season, but little was changed during the year to combat the issue.
Danny Hoesen was a player who came off the bench for FC Gronigen, but should expect to see more time playing for the Earthquakes.
