New York City FC (NYCFC) is determined to turn around their season in Major League Soccer (MLS), and for that, they are banking on the promising talent of Costa Rican forward Alonso Martínez, recently signed from Lommel SK in the Belgian second division. With the summer transfer window coming to a close, the club is looking to strengthen their squad, especially in the attacking department, to secure a spot in the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs.
