NYCFC settles for draw against 10-man Revolution

New York City FC could not find a winner despite playing up a man for 40 minutes in a 1-1 draw with the New England Revolution at Yankee Stadium on Saturday.

NYCFC took the lead in the 10th minute after David Villa rocketed a shot off the crossbar and the rebound fell to Thomas McNamara to score.

But the Revs tied it up when Chris Tierney's free kick took a massive deflection off of Steven Mendoza and went into the net in the 38th minute.
