It’s been a busy week for NYCFC and their gaffer. First, they managed to bring in Yangel Herrera on a season loan from Manchester City. Then they found their third designated player, Maxi Moralez. As well as lack week’s pick up of defensive midfield Alex Ring.
It seems that Vieira’s mind is focused on the midfield, without showing much interest in the backline. Well, late Wednesday night, Vieira proved that theory wrong, and made a solid trade to grab veteran left-back Rodney Wallace.
NYCFC gave up $125,000 all together between General and Allocation Money to the Portland Timbers in exchange for Wallace’s rights.
