If you want to get a look on how a team is going to perform in the upcoming season, you better keep your eyes peeled during the preseason. Last night, NYCFC and Patrick Vieira’s boys took the pitch for the first time in 2017 against Jacksonville University and did not disappoint.
The boys in blue got their legs loose and put the ball in the back of the net nine times, two of them coming from club captain David Villa. Despite the 9-0 score, what was most pleasing was seeing the youngsters get a hold of everything.
The preseason is the perfect opportunity for the draft picks and trailists to shine for Vieira and they did everything they could to stand out in front of the gaffer.
