NWSL: USWNT’s Mallory Pugh is turning pro. Who gets her?

As first reported by SI’s Grant Wahl, the talented 18 year old has reversed her decision on professional soccer. Pugh rose to national team recognition quickly. Jumping from the U-17 and U-20 squads to the full senior side by the age of 17 and still in high school.

Mallory already has four goals to her name and 22 appearances. She even made three appearances at the Olympics this past summer, solidifying her as a key member of the future for the national side as they look ahead to World Cup 2019.

As the top high school player in the country, and already a full senior USWNT member, every school and league was eager to welcome her.
